The former currencies of the Eurozone

Since January 1, 2002 the Euro has been the official currency in 12 EU member states. It had already been introduced in 1999 as bank money.

In the following table you will find those currencies listed, which were used in the Eurozone before the introduction of the Euro (unitl December 2001, resp. December 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2014 and 2015) . Here you can find the exchange rates.
